Stop This Merchandise

And he went into the TEMPLE, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

(Luke 19:45-46)

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.  (Isaiah 56:7)

The Kingdom of God is wrapped up in mysteries. It takes the power revelation by the Spirit of God to unravel these mysteries. What Jesus did at the temple in Jerusalem was a mystery. It was not only about the temple at Jerusalem but He was showing to us the mighty deliverance His death and resurrection will bring to humanity. 

We are the TEMPLE, the house of the Living God (2 Corinthians 6:16). Sadly, we have allowed our bodies to become the dens of satanic activity and transaction. We have become the hub of sin and immorality thereby giving room for demonic manifestation of sicknesses, diseases, infirmities, depression, frustration and so on. The Bible says in Haggai 2:9 NKJV "The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts." 

This prophecy was for those in Christ Jesus. It wasn't to the physical temple in Jerusalem. The latter temple is talking about a NEW temple - not a repaired temple. In other words, prophet Haggai saw a new creation in Zion (Christ). "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. " (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Jesus said "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up...But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said." (John 2:19, 21-22). 

This was a great mystery - "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (1 Corinthians 2:7-8). See what the Bible says in Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

 Now, when Jesus was crucified we were crucified in Him. When He died we were in Him and so we died also and when He resurrected we resurrected in Him. Hallelujah! The was the latter TEMPLE Haggai saw. A temple not built by hands but by the Spirit of God. Remember the Lord said "And in this place I will give peace". This also has been fulfilled by the Lord in John 14:27, He said "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". 

Friend what are you doing with the temple of God you've become in Christ Jesus? What kind of transaction are you allowing to take place in this temple? What are you using your body for? If you are abusing this body with alcohol, drugs, prostitution? homosexuality and crimes? You have to stop this merchandise now! Listen to what the Bible says "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

Beloved, you are the temple of God, "...for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:16-18).

Friend, God wants to dwell in you and supernaturally turn you into the person He created you to be. He was to make your life beautiful! He wants to bless you and give you peace. You may be saying, "how do I stop this merchandise?", it's simple! "...be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." This is all it takes! Jesus is waiting for you. God bless you
