When Christ found me, I was basically a destroyed person with regard to my self-image, and yet it was at these very points that the Holy Spirit provided such comfort and assurance that I was His – that I actually belonged to Jesus my Savoir and God my heavenly Father.
Whatever your background, when you trust Christ, you become a member of the best family there is.
The Lord loves His own.

Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains. Psalm 68:4-6
